After-School Program / Summer Camp
"KID POWER" Homework Assistance and Tutoring
For children in grades K5 through 8th. Children need a safe, supervised environment where they are able to receive the help they need to succeed. The "KID POWER" After-School Program accomplishes this by providing homework assistance, small group interaction, arts and crafts, special projects, visits and assistance from community leaders and agencies and one on one tutoring as needed. We ensure that no child in our program goes to bed hungry by providing nutritious meals daily. Children who participate in the program also receive school supplies throughout the year. This program is in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Club of the CSRA, WT Johnson Center. Time: 3pm to 7pm.
Summer Camp is held in June,July, and August. "Creating our future leaders"
